Complete Guide To Artificial Plants Product Packaging

With 10 years of experience in the export of all kinds of artificial plants, I have helped customers do a variety of packaging and testing. Today I would like to summarize a most complete guide to the packaging of artificial plants to you. Hope you can find the most suitable way of packaging.

There are two scenarios. One is the artificial plants with pots and the other one was without pots.

In the case of no pots, just a stem, branches, or bunch, we generally choose the following packaging:

• Place one next to the other and one on the opposite side as the below picture showed:

• If you want to open the boxes, the flowers/plants are neatly arranged. You can use an iron wire, cardboard, or string to fix them.

• If you want to save the CBM and shipping costs, you can put them in a big carton directly.

• If they are long and easy to twist together or easy to be scratched, it’s better to add an opp bag as below:

In the case of planting pots, especially fragile pots. (Grass/ Ceramic/ Cement pot)

• We usually use polyfoam surrounding the pot as below showed:

• If you’re focusing on the high-end market and attend to environmental protection, you can choose the EVA surrounding the pot as below shown:

• If you want to save cost, you can lay one polyfoam at the bottom and use the bubble-wrapped pot.

For the plastic, wooden, paper pulp, and iron pot, we usually use bubble wrap or just cardboard divided as below:

If the products were too long, we usually place them lay down and opposite each other on the box.

If they’re too long and too heavy, we will use the string to fix them and avoid the upside down and shaking.

In general, we often use the above packaging. In addition, we often help customers customize a variety of suitable packaging.

For amazon or ebay(online) sellers, they usually need brown or color mail order boxes. It’s ok to use 3 layer box for small potted items.

If the product was too big and heavy, it’s better that use 5 layer box.

As supermarket customers, they usually required display boxes, trays, or display shelves as below:

For gift shops and boutiques, they usually pick the color display box or PET Box with a tray.
